actually stargatestyle forum doesn't have the seo mod.

I wondered about that too since I did the php_SEO mod on my forums and today just relized they can't search I was just about to go to the phpbb_seo web site to see if that question was asked.

I'm concerned why the portal is blocking log in and restore of permissions from users groups that don't have search permissions.

Test the same operations in Opera (see viewtopic.php?p=5321#p5321)...

I too now have this issue.

Last night I installed 3.06 and the portal. All looks great however I logged out to see what guests saw and now I cannot get back in.

Put this into config.php

Clear cache via FTP Delete everything except index and htaccess file
You should be able to log into ACP then check permissions for Group Guest make sure they can view forums and search system
Then check to make sure you have guest included in at least one forum and they can at least read messages.
after your done remove the line you put into config.php
clear cache and you should be good.
